Today’s goal was to get over Forrester Pass. It didn’t start well with early rain and hail. But we pressed on past Tyndall Creek. Then we had some thunder, a sign not to go over. But we walked on and when we got to the climb before the pass, the skies were clearer.

Up we went. And up.

As we descended it started to rain again.

So now we are camped well above tree line at 12,000 feet on a lovely lake below the pass.
