Nepal - Zamphuti - Day 3

Flight from Ramechhap to Lukla and short trek to Zamphuti (9.24km - 3:23 hrs)

We started early with a box breakfast and a trip to the airport. As I understood things, you have a reservation, but you actually are put on a flight based on a Tetris like first come first served basis. We were lucky, we only had an hour wait.

The flight was a tree topper landing at the tiny Lukla airport. There were too many clouds for big views, but it was still pretty.

Then we had a tea in Lukla, met out porters and started walking 3.5 hours to Zamphuti, where we had lunch, relaxed and will spend the night. All good so far, but tomorrow’s climb will be harder and get us up into higher elevations.
