Supai to Kingman - Day 59 Again, because of the heat, we headed out of Supai at 5am. 4.5 hours later, we walked the ten miles and 3,500 feet up to our car. Then drove the 60 miles back to Route 66, then two more hours to Kingman. Basically a pit stop to get ready for our flight home tomorrow!

Kingman to Las Vegas - Day 60 Yup. On the way to the airport we got a text saying out flight was delayed until tomorrow. We decided to extend our car rental and book one more night on the strip. Sort of sucks, but one more good set of tacos.

Supai - Day 57 Today we hiked down Mooney Falls (look it up, it’s scary) and then hiked along the river to Beaver Falls (10 miles round trip). The falls were very pretty and fun to swim in. Back at Mooney Falls, we cooled off, but the falls are so powerful you have waves and mist and wind. Pretty, but inhospitable.

Las Vegas to Peach Springs - Day 55 Today was mostly a transition and travel day. We slowly packed up and left Vegas after lunch. Then a three hour drive to Peach Springs. Then a hour of repacking for three nights in Supia.

Havasupai to Supai - Day 56 Because of the 105F temps, we got up early to head to the start of out hike into Supai, a Native American town, through a ten mile canyon. Once there, we set up camp and spent the afternoon to Havasupai Falls. The water was very blue (lime) and around 75F; perfect to keep cool.

Supai - Day 58 We hit the last two falls (with names, there are falls everywhere). The first was 50 Foot and it’s a giant 100 meter long wall of 30, 50 foot high falls. Then we walked to Old Navajo Falls. They were amazing. Perhaps the best.

Las Vegas - Day 54 We did very little today. Slept in. Ate lunch at David Chang’s Bang Bar. Napped. Swam. Read. Ate dinner.
