USA - Havasupai to Supai - Day 56
So we finally made it to Havasu Falls! We applied and got a permit several years ago, but because of Covid, the local tribe keep the area closed. It finally opened up and we planned this entire trip to the USA just to come here.
Because of the 105 F temps, we got up early to head to the start of out hike into Supai, a Native American town, through a ten mile canyon.
Once there, we set up camp by the river and spent the afternoon swimming in Havasupai Falls. The water was very blue (lime) and around 75F; perfect to keep cool.
