Stayed Camp at Sunrise Trail Junction
Travel Walking 6.22 km, 2:33 hours, 48.3 meters up, 773.5 meters down

So we slept in to 7am.

We had a leisurely breakfast watching the suns rays hitting all the peaks and valleys in Yosemite from Clouds Rest. Around 9am we headed down around 3000 feet to the JMT trail again. It only took two hours or so, our easiest day by far.

We are camped at the JMT Junction, so it’s as easy as possible for Angela to get to Half Dome tomorrow morning as we are in a rush to catch a bus in the afternoon. I decided that I am too uncomfortable with heights to do the cables. So I will wait with our bags below.

This camp is lovely, about ten tents could be here, but we have it to ourselves. There is a good rock to climb up and watch the trails and pack mules. A nice stream to wash and get water.

A lovely place for the final night.
