John Muir Trail - Day 25 - Cathedral Lake to Cloud's Rest

Travel Walking 22.07 km, 5:46 hours, 520.3 meters up, 311.4 meters down

We hiked off the JMT today to Cloud’s Rest, a mountain with amazing views of Yosemite Valley. It’s a pretty steep up and we carried an extra three litres of water so we can dry camp up here.

The views are amazing. Unfortunately there is a nearby forest fire that is making everything hazy.

But as of 3:30pm, we are all on our own up here.
