John Muir Trail - Day 2 - Long Lake to Rock Creek

It rained all night, from 7pm to 10am this morning.

So we got up late and started up New Army Pass. It was in the mist and pretty tough. We bumped into one couple doing another hike, but it was good to see anyone.

On the way down we met another hiker, Goran. We might see him again. The paths often were streams still from all the rain. And we had to cross two swollen streams.

We are camping near the second crossing by Rock Creek. We have a long walk left tomorrow to get ready for climbing Whitney on Sunday.
