Japan 2015 - Hiroshima & Kyoto - Day 12

We got up early and took a Shinkansen to Hiroshima. We started at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum (広島平和記念資料館). It was incredibly moving, perhaps one of the hardest museums to ever visit. We then walked around the park and saw the famous dome that was ground zero for the explosion. For lunch we went to a well known store, Andersen Hiroshima (広島アンデルセン) for lunch. It was a lovely place to people watch and relax for a bit. We shopped a bit more, but made out way back to the station and Kyoto.

Back in Kyoto, we did some shopping in the old town and visited the illuminations at Kodaiji Temple (高台寺)
