Travel Bus 4 hours

Today was a travel day to the costal town of Paracas. We traveled on a Crus del Sur bus, which followed the cost. It was a very dry desert and sparsely populated the whole way down.

Paracas is considered a seaside resort and apparently has a lot of summer visitors from Lima. There are a lot of little hotels and inflatable water parks in the sea. It is also next to the Península de Paracas, a National reserve.

After checking in, we headed to the sea front and had a few cocktails and then dinner a bit more inland. The town was very quiet, hardly any overnight tourists.
