València - Day 21
As museums are free on Sundays, we visited a few yesterday.
We first climbed the Serranos Tower on our road. It is one of the last remaining entrances to the old walled town.
Then went to the Museu Nacional de Ceràmica, whose building is as impressive as the contents.
Then the Silk exchange (La Llotja de la Seda) which is lovely, a cathedral of capitalism.
And finally, on the recommendation of Simon and Rosemary, the La Almoina Archaeological Museum, which is built on the foundations of Roman and moorish buildings, right by the cathedral.
In the evening we caught the end of a miracle play for Valencia‘a saints day celebrations. And ended with fireworks in the Plaza de la Reina.
Busy day.
