Telluride - Day 31 We hiked the See Forever Trail today. A medium distance hike with a lot of elevation, starting at 10,000 feet. It was tough. We also checked out an alternate campsite for the next two days. And had an amazing Thai dinner, followed by rain and thunderstorms.

Telluride - Day 30 It was a long drive from Las Vegas to Telluride, but pretty the whole time. We arrived in Telluride around 5:30, set up camp ( yes we are camping for most of the next month) and headed into town for Detroit pizza. Happy to be here.

Santa Fe to Las Vegas, New Mexico - Day 29 This morning we dropped mom off at the airport to fly home. We had a great month with her. Then we headed to see Angela’s cousins Jim and Rachel in Los Vegas with stops at El Santuario de Chimayo, where I rubbed magic healing dirt all over, and the Taos Pubelo. In Las Vegas, we got an A* tour of both sides of town and had a great evening and stay at Jim and Rachel’s Airbnb. Thank you!

Santa Fe to Las Vegas, New Mexico - Day 29 This morning we dropped mom off at the airport to fly home. We had a great month with her. Santa Fe - Day 28 Today we started at the very nice farmers market. Then we headed to the historical district and mostly watched my mom shop. Santa Fe is lovely. We love the adobe architecture and the laid back vibe. Tomorrow mom flies home.

Mesa Verde to Santa Fe - Day 27 We spent the morning driving around Mesa Verde. It’s has a very impressive set of pueblos and put houses. Afterwards we drove to Santa Fe with a lunch stop in Durango. Now we have two nights and a day in Santa Fe. We haven’t been where in 24 years!

Mesa Verde via Canyon de Chelly - Day 26 We took a four hour tour of the canyon with a guide who grew up there. It was pretty amazing to see all the anastasi ruins. Very bumpy and dusty though. Mesa Verde is pretty, but we were unable to get any tours to see the sites, thanks recreation.gov.
