today we stayed put in Akita. We started at Shenshu Park, or the old castle ruins. There is a cherry blossom festival and loads it lovely trees everywhere. Then we went to the art museum with a brilliantly set of galleries dedicated to Tsuguharu Foujita. Then we spent some time exploring homeward shops and just walking around. A more relaxing and lovely day.
