John Muir Trail Day 24

So we slept in to 7am. Had a leisurely breakfast watching the suns rays hitting all the peaks and valleys in Yosemite from Clouds Rest. Around 9am we headed down around 3000 feet to the JMT trail again. It only took 2 hours or so, our easiest day by far. We are camped so it’s as easy as possible for Angela to get to Half Dome tomorrow. I decided that I am too uncomfortable with heights to do the cables. So I will wait with our bags below. This camp is lovely, about ten tents could be here, but we have it to ourselves. There is a good rock to climb up and watch the trails and pack miles. A nice stream to wash and get water. A nice place for the final night.
