Pennine Way - Day 2 - Edale to Crowden

Edale to Crowden, via Kinder Plateau and Bleaklow Head

Lots of showers so far. Climbing Jacob’s Ladder wasn’t too bad, but then up on Kinder, there was a lot of blustery weather and visibility wasn’t great. Coming down to Crowden was treacherous underfoot with all the mud.

We met a great group of former soldiers hiking for charity. They were on Jacob’s Ladder and in our Campsite. We will see them nearly every day on the trail.
