Osmotherley to Clay Bank Top - North York Moors National Park

I have to say, I didn’t know exactly what a Moor was, but it is very high, lots of ups and downs and covered in heather that is all in bloom in September. It is so very pretty to walk through, but no place to sit. And the views of the towns and farmland below are amazing.

Today we ended up walking with our group of four friends that have been going the same pace as us. Jas, Matt, Kev & Julie. There have been a few others, but these are the most constant.

In the evening, we got picked up by the lovely German gentleman who owns the Buck Inn. We stayed and ate german food there. In the morning, he returned us to where we came down from the moors.

Good fun.
