Coast to Coast - Day 9 - Reeth to Richmond

Reeth to Richmond - Yorkshire Dales National Park

Today’s walk was miserable in the pouring rain. It didn’t really let up at all. We got to Richmond pretty early and struggled to find a place that was open to dry out. We finally did find a really nice cafe and we camped for a few hours eating and drinking a lot of tea.

We bought a bit more food in town, but failed to find some camping gas. We would have to try and get that in the morning. Then headed out of town for a B&B just across the River Swale. It was a lovely place and we had dinner with a few other hikers going the opposite way.
