Japan 2015 - Tokyo - Day 1

So we arrived, but it was too early to check in.

So we dropped our bags at our hotel and then went for a walk, looking for some lunch.

We ended up eating a lot of yakitori in the narrow alleys next to Shinjuku train station called ‘Piss Alley’.

Then we went to Takeshita Street, famous for ‘cool’ and cosplay clothing and spent a few hours window shopping and eating some snacks.

As we were getting tired, we went to a chain ramen restaurant and completely screwed up ordering on the ticket machine. But we had a nice meal in the end, all of us sitting in a row with optional privacy screens, facing the kitchen.
