USA - Colorado - Rocky Mountain National Park - Day 81

Today we arrived at another camping and hiking destination, a week at the Rocky Mountain National Park. So far we have seen loads of deer, elk and a mountain lion!

Car camping is so much easier. This trip I brought a big trangia stove to making cooking a lot easier and better. We are staying at the Moraine Park Campground, which is in a lovely spot, just above where about 100 elk are rutting.

So the mountain lion went by so fast and so early in the morning it was hard to even focus on it; however, it left a few footprints that were easily identifiable.
